Lightscreen is an excellent program with which the task of taking screenshots will be much easier and more convenient. This application works in the background, adding new features that make it easy to store the resulting files from the shots.

The program will always be accessible through the system notification area, and every time you press the "Print" key, it'll store the screenshot in the folder you want, with the quality and format you specify.

Furthermore, in Lightscreen it's possible to configure different shortcuts depending on whether the capture must be of the complete window, only a zone of the window of the application that's running at that time, etc.
